ROB THOMAS ON THE SHOW THIS WEEK...

Just got word that ROB THOMAS will be calling into the show on Tuesday morning. His new disc "CRADLESONG" is released that day and he'll be talking it up. I've had a chance to check out a few singles and they are very good. Scroll down this blog to check out his song "SOMEDAY"...I love it! We'll also get his thoughts on MICHAEL JACKSON.

RANDOM SNAPSHOTS...

I went to Friday's TRIBE game against the Reds at Progressive Field. The Indians invited us to be their guests in The Club. The Indians won big. We stayed for the fireworks after the game and loved it. It's well worth staying for the fireworks afer the game...they do a really nice job. I snapped these pix on my iphone.
This is the view from the Club seats at the Indians game. It was a perfect night for baseball.

I played golf in The Lions Club outing this week. This was a crazy weather day where the temps hit near 100 degrees and we got blown off the course by lightening. We eventually finished, but it was quite the adventure. I joked all day that it was "Africa Hot". I felt like I was on a safari.

Everyone loves a man in uniform, right? LOL. Couldn't resist this festive photo-op downtown this week.

You can go You can start all over again You can try to find a way to make another day go by You can hide Hold all your feelings inside You can try to carry on when all you wanna do is cry And maybe someday we’ll figure all this out Try to put an end to all our doubt Try to find a way to make things better now that Maybe someday we’ll live our lives out loud We’ll be better off somehow, someday Now we wait And try to find another mistake If you throw it all away then maybe you can change your mind You can run And when everything is over and done You can shine a little light on everything around you Man it’s good to be someone And maybe someday we’ll figure all this out Try to put an end to all our doubt Try to find a way to make things better now that Maybe someday we’ll live our lives out loud We’ll be better off somehow, someday I don’t wanna wait I just wanna know I just wanna hear you tell me so Give it to me straight Tell it to me slow ‘Cuz maybe someday we’ll figure all this out We’ll put an end to all our doubt Try to find a way to just to feel better now Maybe someday we’ll live our lives out loud We’ll be better off somehow, someday ‘Cuz sometimes we don’t really notice Just how good it can get So maybe we should start all over Start all over, again ‘Cuz sometimes we don’t really notice Just how good it can get So maybe we should start all over Start all over, again

WEDNESDAY MORNING RANDOMS...

I saw the movie THE HANGOVER last night and totally LOVED IT! Has to be the funniest movie I have ever seen! More than just a guy movie about a bachelor party in Vegas...It's a very smart movie...much funnier than the movie trailor indicates.

TRANSFORMERS is NOT a kid movie.

The problems with The Tribe are NOT Eric Wedge's fault. It's the bullpen...let's not get carried away.

ROB THOMAS announced his FALL CONCERT TOUR....no Cleveland??? Really? Maybe the second leg of the tour in early 2010? New album out on June 30th called "Cradlesong".

I'm surprised how much I'm enjoying TWITTER and how much info I actually get from TWITTER. I'm following Ed from my favorite band "LIVE", Rob Thomas, Ryan Seacrest, ESPN and several others. The other night, I dropped several TWEETS live from the COLLECTIVE SOUL show at HOUSE OF BLUES. Follow me on TWITTER by searching for "AllanFee"

Spending Father's Day on a rooftop at Wrigley Field was a great life moment.

RANDOM THOUGHT FROM TODAY'S SHOW: Toe rings and ankle braclets, if worn correctly, are sexy....NOT trashy....

FAVORITE SONG RIGHT NOW: David Cook/Come Back To Me

SONG TO WATCH: Kings of Leon/Use Somebody

Lovin' the weather...several golf outings in the weeks ahead...

More later...talk to ya on FB and TWITTER...have a good day!

ALISON from "A FINE FRENZY" stopped by the show Tuesday morning. She played three songs live on the air during her promo visit. She has a new album coming out in early September. She says she is big into TWITTER...

COLLECTIVE SOUL

COLLECTIVE SOUL frontman ED ROLAND stopped by the show Monday morning. The band is in town to play House of Blues along with Gavin DeGraw. I first met Ed in the mid-90's when the band was knocking out multiple number one rock singles. I'm a huge fan of COLLECTIVE SOUL and can't wait to see the show at HOB. A couple years ago, I saw them at Eastlake Stadium along with "LIVE" and "Counting Crows". This time around, I look forward to seeing them in an intimate club setting.

THE ROOFTOP AT WRIGLEY FIELD

I spent Father's Day in Chicago on a rooftop at Wrigley Field. Without question, Wrigley is THE place to watch a baseball game. Watching from the rooftop makes it that much more special. Despite The Tribe losing 6-2 and getting swept, I had a total blast and look forward to coming back to Wrigley for another game soon!

I'm fairly active on there and update it often throughout the day! You can also follow our show under "wildeandfee". On FACEBOOK, I try to update things throughout the day. I post tons of pix behind-the-scenes of the show, backstage at concerts and personal pix from my life. We also have a Wilde and Fee Fan Page and Profile on FACEBOOK. We often seek your feedback and have tons of pix behind-the-scenes of our show and stuff happening in our lives. I also have an NHSA SOCCER FACEBOOK page listed under "Allan Fee"...it's the one with the league logo as a profile pic.

I constantly update this site, www.allanfee.com and also my soccer league website at www.nhsasoccer.org. We have several photo galleries on both. Check them out...would love your feedback!

I look forward to your TWEETS, posts and comments!

ROB THOMAS

ROB THOMAS was in town yesterday for a private performance for Q104. He played "3am", "Lonely No More" and his current smash "Her Diamonds". Rebecca and I did Q&A between songs.

I first met Rob in 1997 and found him to be very down-to-earth and very passionate about his craft. Several years and many number one singles later, he is still the same guy. I consider him to be the best singer/songwriter of our generation.

It was also fun to follow him on TWITTER as he made his way to Cleveland. If you have a TWITTER account, follow him at "ThisIsRobThomas".

GOLF AT BRIARWOOD

My friend Dean and I have been talking about playing golf for almost two years now. Finally, on Friday, we had a chance to play. Despite his big talk and fancy equipment, he got schooled on the back nine : ) Highlights included a 30-foot birdie putt and big straight drives off the tee. After a tough start, I was 10 strokes better on the back nine. It's early in the season and a rivalry has been born.....to be continued...

TRIBE GAME vs St. Louis

My daughter Gabby was born in St. Louis. Her first baseball game was OPENING DAY at a Cardinals game, so we had to take her to see "her team" play this weekend at PROGRESSIVE FIELD... CHANNEL 5's ANDY BASKIN is a close friend to the family, so we joined him along with his daughter BRYNN at the ballpark Friday night....

TRAVEL SPRING SEASON ENDS...

My daughter Gabby's first ever travel team wrapped up the season on Sunday with a game at Madison. Gabs socred her third goal in two weeks and her team played its best game of the season. We were lucky to have her on a team with wonderful kids and great parents! Our experience this season was awesome! For more photo galleries and info on our league, check out the website at www.nhsasoccer.org

Something I read Sunday morning...

"YOU ARE THAT WHICH YOU SEEK."

Since reading this Sunday morning, I can't help but think that it's so true. It has me wondering quite a bit about priorities and who and what to invest time in.

RIBS AT SCOREBOARDS!

During the summer, one of my favorite hang-outs is the patio at SCOREBOARD's in Northfield. When Dave fires up the grill, no one makes better ribs! Saturday night's re-launch of the patio was a blast! The ribs were amazing!!!
